On January 30, 2025, Marimekko’s Fall/Winter ’25 collection debuted at the Vilhelm Lauritzen Terminal in Copenhagen. The late 1930s functionalist masterpiece provided the perfect backdrop for the runway show, set to the rhythmic drum beats of jazz drummer Mikkel Hess.
The collection celebrates the season, shifting from the monochromatic tones of darkening nights to bursts of joyful color from pale winter florals.
Fresh from the runway
The Fall/Winter ’25 collection continues Marimekko's exploration of anatomy of flowers in 2025. Textured materials like bouclé and mouliné add a crafted, natural dimension, contrasting with the softness of wool and the crispness of cotton seen in woven dresses, chunky knitwear and outerwear. Refined pleated looks, joyful minis and maxis and bold colors capped the show.
