The Vankka tote bag is made of a firm unbleached cotton and linen blend, and it features the Ostjakki pattern and the Marimekko logo in the front. The fabric is printed in Helsinki.
This product contains 46% recycled cotton and 21% recycled linen. Unbleached fabrics, as well as fabrics containing recycled fibers, have a natural lively color and surface where small different colored areas may appear. There may be differences between products regarding this feature.

Fujiwo Ishimoto’s Ostjakki (Khanty) check pattern was originally part of a collection entitled Iso karhu (Ursa Major), which was inspired, among others, by textiles patterned using the traditional ikat dyeing technique.
